Shelly Albertson has been a constant source of support in Ashlea’s life and continues to stand behind the Ashlea Albertson Legacy Foundation today. As Ashlea’s stepmom, she was always there through the different chapters of Ashlea’s life and racing career, supporting her dreams and being part of the strong family foundation that surrounded her.

Shelly is a devoted mom to her daughter and stepdaughters and a loving wife who values family above all. She has always been someone people can count on—bringing encouragement, positivity, and a steady presence to those around her.

Professionally, Shelly works with New Palestine schools, where she helps high school students plan for their futures. In her role, she works closely with students to explore career paths, enroll in college, and prepare for the next steps in their lives after graduation. Helping young people find direction and opportunity is something she truly cares about.

Shelly continues to support the foundation and the events that help carry on Ashlea’s legacy. Her encouragement and positivity mean a lot to the people involved and help keep the mission moving forward.
