KELSEY DOSSEY

Kelsey DOSSEY is the President and Co-Founder of the Ashlea Albertson Legacy Foundation, an organization created to honor the life, passion, and impact of her best friend, Ashlea Albertson. Kelsey and Ashlea became best friends during their sophomore year of high school, forming a bond that quickly grew into a lifelong sisterhood. Much of their friendship was built at racetracks—long nights in the pits, road trips to races, celebrating wins, and standing by each other through every high and low that comes with GROWING UP.

After losing Ashlea in 2023, Kelsey knew she wanted to do something that would truly reflect who Ashlea was and what she stood for. Ashlea wasn’t just a talented driver—she was someone who believed in others, especially young girls who wanted to break into the racing world. The Ashlea Albertson Legacy Foundation was created to carry that spirit forward and help the next generation of female racers find opportunities, support, and belief in themselves.

Kelsey pours her heart into the foundation and the events that bring the community together each year, including the annual karting event, car show, and the Ashlea Albertson Memorial Race. Each event is not only a way to celebrate Ashlea’s life, but also a reminder of the impact she had on the racing world and the people around her.

Outside of the foundation, Kelsey is a licensed Indiana realtor and a motorsports photographer. She also spends much of her time on the road at racetracks with her husband, continuing to live in the world that she and Ashlea loved so much.

For Kelsey, the foundation is more than a mission—it’s a promise. A promise to keep Ashlea’s memory alive, to continue sharing her story, and to make sure her passion for helping others continues to open doors for young women in motorsports for years to come.
