KAYLEA COLLINS

Kaylea Albertson, Ashlea’s older sister, has been a pillar of strength for the Ashlea Albertson Legacy Foundation and continues to carry Ashlea’s memory forward. Through every challenge THAT HER AND ASHLEA FACED, Kaylea always stepped into the role of the protective big sister—someone Ashlea could lean on, look up to, and count on no matter what.

That same love and support continues today through Kaylea’s involvement with the foundation. She is a huge help behind the scenes at foundation events, always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. Her presence brings a sense of family and grounding to everything the foundation does, and she continues to be someone the entire group can lean on—just like she was for Ashlea.

Kaylea also organizes an annual “Last Day of School” event that the foundation is proud to be a part of each year. Through this event, the foundation has the opportunity to talk with kids about the importance of wearing their seatbelts and encouraging others to do the same. Sharing that message with young people is a meaningful way to continue spreading awareness and honoring Ashlea’s legacy.

Outside of the foundation, Kaylea works in special education, dedicating her career to helping children who need extra support and encouragement. She is also the Cheer Director for Greenwood Bantam, where she helps mentor and lead young athletes while creating a positive environment for kids to grow and build confidence.

Kaylea is also a devoted wife and the proud mom of her son, Jackson, who Ashlea absolutely adored.

In every part of her life—whether it’s her family, her career, the cheer program she leads, or the foundation—Kaylea continues to embody the role she has always held: the big sister. Her strength, support, and love help keep Ashlea’s spirit alive while guiding the foundation forward in a way that truly reflects the heart of their family.
